One True Church.

The Roman Catholic Church is the one true Church.

Our Lord's Word's to Peter:

"And I say to thee, thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."[Mt 16:18-19]

Peter means “Rock”: “Thou art Rock, and upon this Rock.....” And so we know that Our Lord was referring to St Peter, His apostle. Peter established the Church in Rome, being there for some twenty five years.

That Church, “My Church” i.e. The Lord's Church, can be and is the Roman Catholic Church. All happened according to Our Lord's Words; the descent of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost upon the Apostles, the Blessed Virgin, and the disciples; the Blessed Virgin, immaculate, without sin, praying in their midst.

Catholic doctrine; the Deposit of Faith, is grounded in Eternal Truth, Divine Law and as found in Scripture; God's commands. The Church accessed this at "source" at the right time (apostolic times) and then built the Church (the Rock and Column of the Faith) under the guidance of God the Holy Spirit, as reflected in Her sacramental economy and devotional prayers, and practices etc, and, as necessity arose, down through the centuries, the protections put in place to safeguard the Deposit of Faith, from heresies and from any adverse outside influences. A Church built; a splendid Church, with Her beautiful worship and faith practices and Sacramental structure. The great Sacrifice of the Mass. The Mass is Our Lord's great Sacrifice (which was complete and for all time) but repeated; in an unbloody form, everyday on the altar and with the faithful; both living and dead, benefiting from Our Lord's precious Body and Blood and from the graces and merits won for us through His great Sacrifice accordingly.

And with the prayers, penance, sacrifices, indulgences, mortifications etc all part of a focus on how we should be and should try to be; all unto salvation, and all as part of always seeking the greater glory to God. All directed to our obligations under the first commandment:

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment."[Mt 22:37]&[Deut. 6:4-5]

Indeed a splendid Church, but amidst mankind and subject to one of (if not thee) oldest and deadliest traits known to mankind: the desire to usurp the authority belonging to another. Our Lord gave all authority to His Church; the Roman Catholic Church; the Ark of Salvation; at His glorious Ascension into heaven, He commanded His apostles, saying:

"All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold I am with you all days, even unto the consummation of the world."[Matt 28:19-20]

All power and authority is Our Lord's. And He is with His Church always. That one Church; His Church, cannot be anything founded fifteen centuries later under rebellion against it (Protestantism), and under the whims of kings, and wayward schoolmen! With its various alien doctrines (including, in particular, the denial of the Mass as a sacrifice, the denial of Transubstantiation, the denial of the sinlessness of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the denial of Purgatory, the denial of the invocation of the saints, and the denial of prayers for the dead. And especially Justification by faith alone, which Our Lord did not teach nor did the apostles, but rightly referred to by the Church in Her traditional teachings as an abuse of St Paul's writings. What we do matters and it matters a very great deal; the whole of scripture tells us the same!) Nor anything founded 17/18/19 or 20 centuries later as protestant offshoots, it is too important for that!

The Church dealt with all heresies, very much including the anti-Trinitarian heresies that arose in the East under pagan philosophical influences, in the early centuries. She; the Church, the “Rock” was able to do this; all under the guidance of God the Holy Spirit.

But mankind has not cherished the great gift of The Church. And we are now in the the very last times of the world as we know it; and with the relatively few humans left in the world amidst a vast density of “locusts”; the apostate angels (incarnate demons) released, as foretold in the Apocalypse, from the bottomless pit!
